How Do I Sign Up?
First, sign up for Online Banking. Once you have your User ID and Password (PIN), go to www.nantucketbank.com and click on "Online Banking".
Next click on the Bill Pay tab and complete the enrollment form. The application will be sent electronically.
You will be able to start adding payees and paying bills right away.
How Much Does it Cost?
We are pleased to be able to offer Bill Pay free to our customers.
Pay as many bills a month as you want using Bill Pay at no charge.
If funds are not available to pay a bill you have initiated, you will be charged an overdraft fee of $33.00. If you request a stop payment, the charge is $25.00 per item.
How Do I Add Companies to My Payee List?
Click on the Bill Payment tab and select "Add Payees" .
Fill in the requested fields.
If you are adding a national or large company, review the "Search Master Payee List" link, since the payee may already be there.
Enter your account number in the appropraite field. Check the box "no account number" if the payee is an individual or you have not been assigned a number by the payee.
When Does the Money Come Out of My Account?
Funds are debited the next business day after you have requested a payment. Payments made over the weekend will not come out until the following Monday.
How Long Does It Take for the Payee to Receive a Payment?
There are two types of payments:
Electronic - Companies that can receive payments electronically, post them within 2-4 days.
Check - If they are not able to accept electronic payments, companies or individuals are mailed a check. This takes 5 business days for the payment to be received.
Can I delete a requested payment?
You can delete a requested payment on the "Pending Payments" page prior to actual processing. Processing takes place at 8:00 PM EST on the day the payment was requested. To delete, select the payment you want canceled and click on the "Delete" key. Payments made on Saturday will not be processed until Sunday night.
If a Payment is Not Electronic, Can I Request a Copy of the Check if Necessary?
Yes, a copy of the check can be obtained by request through the Call Center.
