Let us know when you’re heading out of town
Nantucket Bank has invested in sophisticated systems that monitor both your debit card activity and online banking account for fraud. If we do notice unusual activity on your account, we may decline transactions or suspend your online banking account and contact you to verify recent activity.
If you plan to travel, please call us at 508.228.0580 and let us know when and where you will be visiting and to ensure your contact information is up-to-date. Doing so will avoid the possibility of disrupted access to your account while you’re away.
Monitor your accounts
While you are traveling, we recommend that you monitor activity on your account through online or mobile banking to ensure that your card hasn’t been compromised, particularly when overseas. If you notice suspicious activity, report it right away by calling us at 508.228.0580.
Report a lost or stolen debit card
If you discover your card has been lost or stolen, call us immediately at 508.228.0580 during business hours, or 800.554.8969 during non-business hours. Or, if you’ve synced your debit card to our mobile banking app, you can turn your card off in real time and report it lost/stolen in “Manage my cards” within the mobile app.
